I don't think I've ever seen a photo where the eyelashes cast a noticeable shadow. This is a very interesting photo, the contrast of the black background with the models face is nice. The only thing I'm not that crazy about is how much the mascara on her lashes distracts from the actual lashes. Make up can be very important when you're creating an image.

Yeah, she was wearing alot of makeup, it was an spur of the moment photoshoot, so she didnt have time to do her makeup. and I lit this with my 430ex canon flash. i had the flash infront of her pointing at her face. i triggered it with my wireless trigger
